People who look after you
You arrive tired, and there is a jar of iced lemon water waiting at the desk. Lily, the manager, speaks Thai, English, and Chinese. Ask her where to eat and you get a real answer. Three in four reviews mention the team.
A new 35-room family hotel in the middle of Phuket Old Town. Walk to the Sunday market, the cafes, and the airport bus. Free parking out back.

The owner's son picked the mattresses himself. They are pocket spring, so if one of you gets up at 3 AM, the other one keeps sleeping. Guests write about the soft pillows without being asked.
Everything was renovated this year and opened in August 2026. Six in ten reviews say clean. One guest from South Korea ranked it above Phuket's five-star hotels.
Your cozy stay begins here
Chochana is named after the owner's son and daughter. Their father turned an older building in Phuket Old Town into this hotel so the family would have something to run together. The two children on the sign are them.
So when you stay here, you are staying with a family, and they treat the place like their name is on it. Because it is.
The white lilies at the door have a reason too. In another language, Chochana means lily.
Some rooms stay dark so you can sleep late. Some fill with daylight. Every room has the same pocket spring bed, a fridge, a kettle, and a shower room with bidet and hairdryer.
Inside-facing window. Dark and calm, whatever the hour.
Sleep deep and wake up when you want. A soft queen bed, air conditioning that gets properly cold, and a room that stays dark till you open the door. There is a marble-top desk for your laptop and a brass lamp one guest called cute. The room most guests book.
Your own bed, your own mattress, and nobody rolling into the middle. A little more floor than the Queen. Good for friends, siblings, or a parent and a teenager.
Our lowest price for two, with the same good bed. This room has a wall fan and no air conditioning, so it suits the cool season best. In April, take a Superior.
Outside window. Real daylight and more room to spread out.
Morning light, a soft sofa by the window, and space to open a suitcase properly. Close the wooden blinds at night and it sleeps as well as any room here. Booked most by couples, and by one parent with one child.
Four of you, one room, and nobody on a fold-out. A double bed for the adults and two bunks the kids will argue over. Tell us their ages when you book and we will try to put you on the ground floor.
Photos coming soon. Message us and we will send one.
The most space in the building. A king bed, a place to sit that is not the bed, and daylight all morning. Pick it for a longer stay or an anniversary. It is still a hometel price.

In every room: bottled water, tea and coffee, kettle, fridge, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, bidet, toiletries, slippers, key card door, and daily housekeeping.
Not sure which room? Start with your dates.
Check availabilityAlmost nothing in Phuket Old Town comes with parking. We have four to eight spaces of our own behind the building, so you can stop circling and start your trip. Driving something big? Tell us the day before and we will keep a space clear.

Leave the car. The shophouses, the street food, and the Sunday market are all a short walk from your room.
By car: the airport is about 31 km, 45 to 60 minutes. Rassada Pier for Phi Phi ferries is 10 to 15 minutes. Patong Beach is 30 to 40 minutes.
Taking a taxi? Tell the driver "Chochana Hometel, Montri Road, near the clock tower."
4.9 out of 5 across every review since we opened
"They went above and beyond."
Cleanliness and water quality "above Phuket 5-star hotels."
The iced lemon water at check-in "took the tiredness of the journey away."
"เตียงนอนนุ่มหลับสบายสุดๆ"One more, because it says it best. When a guest's bracelet broke in the car park, the whole team went outside to look for the beads.
Yes, every room has one. In the Standard and Superior rooms the window faces inside the building, so the room stays dark and you sleep late. The Deluxe, Family Room and King Suite have outside windows with real daylight.
No. The hotel has two floors and one flight of stairs. If stairs are hard, or you have heavy bags or small kids, tell us when you book and we will do our best to put you downstairs.
No. Good coffee is two minutes away on foot and 7-Eleven is fifty metres from the door. Ask at the desk and we will point you to where we eat.
All except the Standard Double with Fan. That room has a wall fan only, and it is priced for it. In hot season, take a Superior.
Yes. There are four to eight spaces behind the building, through Phang Nga Soi 2. First come, first parked. Driving something big? Message us the day before and we will keep a space clear.
Yes. The front desk is open 24 hours, so a 2 AM arrival is fine. Check-in is from 2 PM and check-out is by 12 noon.
It is a name the owner made from the names of his son and daughter. The family later found that in another language the word means lily, which is why you will see white lilies at the door.
Our best price is always here, on our own site. And your message reaches the people at the desk, not a call centre.
